Castle Arabians is owned by Wendy Cousins, a keen enthusiast of Arab horses and the sport of Endurance.

Wendy's relaxed and homely stud prides itself on producing Arabian horses with superb temperments and good bone and confirmation. All of these attributes have placed them on both the racing and endurance circuits.

Wendy currently has two stallions standing at stud, Allaskar and Mercurio. They also have their own broodmares and a selection of youngstock for sale.

Allaskar (by Andrus out of Inass) is 15.2hh and a blend of finest Polish/English blood lines. He is the sire of the successful gelding Allesandro.

Mercurio, a Halsdon-bred son of multi-race and ridden champions Piechur and Melisha, is also the maternal brother to the sports performance horse Melchar.

Many of Wendy's horses are at the top level in Endurance. These include Sahira Silver Moon and Shia Khan (owned and ridden by Jo Trego, past British Team Captain and Horse and Hound columnist), Ca Shia Mercurio and Ca Shia Senaria (owned and ridden by Lyn Bryne, Head Veterinary Nurse at the Department of Clinical Science at Langford), and Ca Shia Merishia and Ca Daisha (owned and ridden by Nikki Routledge).
