Welcome to Mimi's website.....dedicated to Endurance riding. Look at our Discover Endurance page to see if Endurance is for you, and let us help you to train yourself and your horse for this challenging friendly sport.

Mimi (Ca Shia Merishia) and Daisha (Ca Daisha) are my current Endurance horses, competing up to 160km (100 mile) level rides

My first Endurance horse, Moment of Justice was a chestnut Thoroughbred who was useless on the racecourse, not much better at eventing but who really took to Endurance. Justice reached Gold Level (now called Advanced Level) in three years and completed the famous Golden Horseshoe 100 mile (160km) ride in 2000 at our first attempt. So if he could do it, so could many others. In fact there are many undiscovered Endurance stars out there......could you and your horse do it as well?

This website contains lots of information to help you discover more about Endurance and how to succeed in Endurance, (see Discover Endurance and How to Succeed)

I have included a fittening programme for those of you training for rides of up to 50 miles (80km), and how to use quality work to fitten your horse regardless of what level you are riding at (see Quality not Quantity). There is also lots of information on how to Avoid Dehydration, a major factor in the success or failure of many endurance horses at rides.

Information on the training of Mimi and Daisha are detailed on the Horses page, with a special report on how I trained Dee, an Irish Draught cross, to achieve completion at the 2007 and 2008 160km Golden Horseshoe Rides, winning the Best Non-Arab award. We also have a page featuring Castle Arabians, where I bought both my girls and where they specialise in producing Arabs for Endurance.
